Acceptable Use

• Anything unlawful, or that promotes or facilitates unlawful acts.
• Material that sexualises children, in any form. Accounts are removed immediately and reported to the authorities.
• Threats, harassment, incitement to violence, or hate directed at people for who they are.
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Someone else's private information published without their consent.
• Sexually explicit material, and anything else unsuitable for a page that opens without a warning.

A link is your page's whole purpose, so the destination matters as much as the page. Do not link to malware, phishing pages, deceptive downloads, financial scams, or anything in the list above. Do not use the redirect to disguise where a visitor is really going.

Do not claim to be a person, brand or organisation you are not, and do not pick a handle designed to make people think your page is someone else's. Parody and commentary are fine when it is obvious from the page itself.

Do not send automated traffic to inflate a page's statistics, scrape the service at scale, resell it, or attempt to bypass its limits or security. Please do report security problems to TODO@example.com; we will not pursue anyone who reports one in good faith and gives us a chance to fix it.

Write to TODO@example.com with the address of the page and what is wrong with it. Include enough detail that we can see the problem for ourselves. We read every report, and we will tell you what we decided.

If a page uses your work without permission, send TODO@example.com a notice containing all of the following:

• identification of the work you say is infringed;
• the address of the page or file that infringes it;
• your name, address and email address;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
• your signature, electronic or physical.

Deliberately false claims cause real harm to the person on the other end, and we treat them accordingly.

Depending on what we find, we may remove content, hide a page, reclaim a handle, or close an account. Serious cases — anything involving children, credible threats, or clear criminality — are actioned at once and referred to the authorities. Otherwise we aim to warn first.

If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message and tell us why. A person will look again.
